YogaSonic is a freeform music/yoga art project developed by electronic musician/producer John Tague, and yoga instructors Claire Hartley and Michelle Goldstein. Yogasonic is a melding of Vinyasa Flow Yoga & real time live electronic music bringing a fresh, vibe filled experience to group yoga classes that breaks away from the mold of ordinary yoga classes by letting the practitioner become a living part of the art by expressing themselves through freeform yoga. Students movement follows the rhythm of their own intuition while DJ John Tague provides a sonic backdrop by using the improvisational electronic music instrument Ableton Live.

The Yogasonic session starts with an intention and warm up by Michelle Goldstein. From there practitioners are free to explore and journey through their practice. Michelle guides and encourages yogi's through the practice and provides sequencing suggestions. Practice finishes with group meditation and Om chant.  Yogasonic's music is created live “on the fly” by DJ John Tague. Deep ambient electronic beats, lush pads, and sonic landscapes score the session. Using the music program Ableton Live creates the element of improvisation. The music is smooth and beat driven inspiring energy and creative movement.
